Ferries & Flying
The island is easily accessible by ferry and flights all year round, providing a convenient and reliable way to reach us. Rossaveal Port and Connemara Airports are the Galway connection points. Summer or winter the ferry and flight service ensures a smooth and comfortable journey, making the island simple to explore at any time of year. Important to note ferry services from Doolin, Co. Clare are seasonal.
Public Transport
Public transport from Galway to the island is easy and dependable all year-round. Regular daily services ensure an easy and convenient journey. Whether for a quick trip or a longer stay, travelling to the island is simple and hassle-free throughout the year. Travelling from Rossaveal to Inis Oírr or flying from Connemara airport have a direct bus link all year around. Doolin’s connections are less frequent and seasonal.
Driving & Parking
Driving to the Aran Islands is not possible and the islands are only accessible by passenger ferry or flight. Parking is readily available at the ferry terminals of Rossaveal and Doolin as well as Connemara Airport. Costs vary at each terminal and tickets can be purchased on site. So park up, hop on and enjoy the island by foot, bike or traditional horse and cart.
