This Wild Island Wellness Escape with Áine from Éalú Aran of Inis Oírr, woven with gentle yoga, nature sounds, and exquisite local flavour was nothing short of alchemy for the soul. From the very first step onto the dew-kissed path, I felt layers of stress begin to slip away, like mist lifting off a quiet morning field. Led by an extraordinary local guide ‘Áine’ equal parts teacher and storyteller, we were gently ushered into a world where time moves in harmony with nature as we went on a beautiful coastal walk. In a lakeside filed, we gathered in a yoga pod that felt magical from start to finish. The ground beneath us and the stone walls around us hummed with old wisdom. Stretching, moving, and breathing together under wide skies and whispering grasses, the practice was a communion with earth and self. The air was alive with the music of our soulful minority language shared by Áine holding stories of this land and ourselves, spoken like a lullaby. Afterwards, seated on the rocks by the old shipwreck, we had yummy snacks and warm tea - a celebration of local talent. I left Éalú Aran indescribably relaxed yet buzzing with quiet energy, like the wildflowers swaying all around us. It's rare to feel so simultaneously grounded and uplifted. You don’t just walk through nature on this journey you are folded into it. You listen, you breathe, you connect. What you receive is what you look for! If you only have a short time on the island, make sure you tap into Éalú Aran. Slow down and enjoy it, for destressing, just time for YOU, or for tapping into your creativity! I’ve a strong feeling this experience is sought after far and wide so go now, while you can still hear the wind speak your name in that open field and over the waves by the Plassey shipwreck of Inis Oírr… Truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Tulcaí buíochas leat, a Áine. Feicfimid arís thú! Michelle SomertonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. First visit to the island for me and our guide Áine walked us along the dunes and around the beautiful coast. Her knowledge of island history and nature really connected us to island-life. Nestled in one of the many fields was our yoga tent up near a lake. Áine takes the class slowly in gaeilge and English, which was very grounding, then finishing with a walk to the shipwreck for some photographs and tea on the beach. I learned so much from this special experience and have a deeper appreciation for island life and how bound this is with land, sea, and air. ✨🙏🏻 Siobhan CunninghamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The experience with Áine at Éalú Aran was magical. From the spectacular coastal walk to the lakeside yoga, it was a heavenly experience. The beauty of the location is breathtaking, the yoga pod is very comfortable. Áine is great company and a wealth of knowledge about the island and the flora and fauna with loads of interesting stories and irish names for the beautiful plants and places. It is lovely to do yoga with some irish language woven in. I felt so good after our yoga session, my nervous system so soothed by Áine's expert instruction and the breathtaking surroundings along with the total quiet and peace. Afterwards, I enjoyed a coffee along with a delicious protein ball and granola pot which Áine arranged with a local food truck located at the Plassey shipwreck. I couldn't recommend this experience highly enough. A fabulous experience as a solo visitor or with friends. We had beautiful weather and an incredibly quiet setting. I am not an Irish speaker however I enjoyed the gentle mix of stretching variations with the cupla focal thrown in. Aine has a very relaxed manner & I particularly enjoyed our swim afterwards. Would not hesitate to book in when next on the Island. I am so grateful to have experienced the magical yoga and sound bath workshop with wonderful, connected Mná. The location is Divine, immersed in the most stunning Nature. The moment I entered the gorgeous tent by the lake, I felt at peace. The flow was beautiful and extra special as it's as Gaeilge. We all got warm blankets and pillows to make sure we were as comfortable as possible for the sound bath. The frequencies from the sound bath were incredibly healing, I had a powerful release of energy and was guided through feeling safe to let it flow. We had beautiful herbal teas and healthy treats afterwards. An unforgettable experience.
